Located at 174, Jintang Road, Hedong District, Tianjin and established in August 1954, Tianjin Design & Research Institute of Electric Drive (TRIED) is an institute directly under the former Ministry of Machine Building. TRIED was registered as an enterprise legal person in June 2001. It passed the ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System in May 2002 and was approved as a “High-Tech Enterprise” in January 2003.
